My car has been leaking coolant out of the coolant reservoir for a couple of weeks. I have recently changed the water pump, the thermostat and finally the intake gasket which costed me $300. All of this unfortunately did not solve the problem. I already checked the radiator and it came out clean. Does anyone know what the problem could be? please help me, i'm all out of ideas. Luis

My coolant was leaking as well about 3 months ago (2000 model), but they replaced the gasket (free, no less) and I believe it fixed the problem. Are you taking it to the dealer?

I took my 97 in for routine maintenance the 2nd month I had it oil change tranny filters ect. I had my radiator fluid flushed and filled. about 3 days later I noticed im leaving a lot of fluid on the ground. I take the car into the shop after going through about 3 jugs of coolant in 2 weeks. The guys take a look at it and it turns out the only thing that stopped my water pump from leaking prior was coagulated radiator fluid when they filled it with the new it shot through the temporary seal. So I take my car in for repairs I buy the pump for around 60 bucks I think and have my mechanic who admittedly didn't know what he was getting himself into with a quad four engines start in on it. He then gives me a very very good price of $150. Well, three days later after he takes half the engine apart to get to the pump, he sends me a bill of 400 bucks not bad compared to 800 - 900 from the well known shops.
